Вера Дженсен (Vera Janssen) сейчас находится на курорте Wistler, что в Канаде. Вера рассказывает, что на курорте за последние 10 дней выпало около 2х метра снега и, что очень сложно каждый день вставать в 6 утра и управлять снегоходом.
"With over 2 meters of snow in the past 10 days here in Whistler, I have been more than exhausted from 6am wake ups and long days in the snow. Snowmobiling gets pretty difficult when you sink in up to your armpits the second you step off your snowmobile. Not a good time to get your sled stuck - and yet that''s exactly what happens in these conditions. Avalanche danger has also been fairly high with all this fresh snow - we have had small slides take out our landings a few times, which can be quite frustrating if you''ve spent hours shovelling a huge cheese wedge. But at least we''ve all managed to stay safe and healthy (except a few bruises and sore muscles). It''s been great fun riding deep, dry, fluffy powder and enjoying life - getting ready to go to Alaska next month!!"
